Our first forest view Christmas! and our firest stay in Ty Dyffryn, what a cosy cottage. As always a fabulous break and Gina and Jason provided plenty of seasonal extras including a beautiful tree! This was a relaxing break for all the family and the car never left the car park!! We enjoyed the lake walk several times and spent afternoons snuggled up on the sofa with cosy blankets, We will be back in March (we cant wait) Although we didnt go this visit if you have a young family we recommend Annas Welsh Zoo -Manor Park for half a day or Folly Farm for a full day,There are kennels nearby who take our collie overnight/for the day when we visit these places Yes it did rain a lot but dont let that spoil your fun-wrap up warm , pull on your wellies and go splash in the puddles!! Folly farm has a massive indoor play area/fair and parts of the farm are undercover

Mixed weather, but still enjoyed good mountain biking at Brechfa and the amazing beaches, Recommend Pembry country park - also dog friendly. We hope to be back soon!
As the first guests to stay at Ty Dyffryn we would like to congratulate all involved in giving those splendid old buildings to new life. The restoration is of very high standard and very effort, to the smallest detail, has been made for convenience and comfort. Despite mixed weather Carmarthenshire and the valley are beautiful to visit and ideally placed. A Splendid holiday. Thank you.
